To honor the memory and legacy of longtime PCC member Earle Conrad, the Conrad Family and the Plainfield Curling Club will be hosting Doogan’s Farewell Bash on Saturday, October 9th, beginning at 5:00 PM. It’s a time to reminisce about his exploits, throw a few rocks in his honor and celebrate Earle and one of his greatest passions.
The event will be catered but members are welcome to bring a dish of their own if they’d like to contribute. The ice will be available for pick-up games throughout the evening. Silly wigs and Doogan t-shirts (if anyone still has them) are encouraged.
All attendees will be required to follow the club’s COVID-19 guidelines and protocols. Proof of vaccination or medical exemption from vaccination will be required for all attendees. Everyone who has a medical exemption or is ineligible for vaccination must wear a face mask at all times while indoors.
Please forward this announcement to curlers outside of PCC who knew Earle and may wish to attend.
